HARMLESS AND EFFECTIVE CBD OIL

The power of CBD Oil to harmlessly and effectively cure and heal is quite extraordinary. Understanding the difference between marijuana, the whole plant, and its potent properties is the key to appreciating the powers it contains. It is the cannabinoid compounds within the marijuana plant which, when isolated and preserved within oil, are producing the amazing results which everyone is talking about.

In many ways, the move towards the legalization of marijuana, particularly medical marijuana, is a return to the status quo in the United States. In America, before the 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act, cannabis was a common ingredient in medicinal tinctures, and sellers didn’t even have to include it on their labels.

Since 1996, there have been several medical marijuana markets growing in the western United States. In the region, states like California, Washington, and Oregon created an avenue for seasoned cannabis cultivators to farm cannabis medicines. Nearly two decades later, these states and several others, including Colorado, are expanding into the country’s first full-fledged recreational cannabis markets.

Growers in these markets have been producing both high THC and high CBD strains of marijuana and merging them into edibles, concentrates, and topicals of all forms to assist customers and patients with their therapeutic needs.

These markets are now becoming known for having stricter testing standards than standard produce agriculture, and now nearly half the country’s states have some form of medical marijuana program or more. In these markets, medical marijuana cardholders can typically access CBD products containing much higher concentrations of Cannabidiol than hemp-derived CBD products, and due to stringent testing, often times purer CBD products as well.

CBD OIL WORKS BEST COMBINED WITH OTHER CANNABINOIDS

Cannabis contains hundreds of compounds, 80 of which are currently categorized as cannabinoids. CBD and THC are the principal cannabinoids in cannabis, both commonly occurring in the relatively largest concentrations, and they are incredibly synergistic.

Embracing the full-spectrum of cannabis’ naturally occurring phytonutrients is part of a process called whole plant medicine. This practice is highly regarded in the holistic and alternative medicine communities, existing in stark contrast to the practice of fractionated medicine, a process involving the heavy use processing and chemical synthesis popularized by the pharmaceutical industry.

Marijuana has been used for at least 5000 years as an industrial material and botanical medicine throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and America.

The term “medical marijuana” refers to the use of the whole, unprocessed marijuana plant and its pure extracts to treat a disease or improve a symptom. It must be sourced from a medicinal-grade cannabis plant that has been meticulously grown without the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers.

In a CBS interview, US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy acknowledged that marijuana may be useful for certain medical conditions. Likewise, CNN’s chief medical correspondent and neurosurgeon Sanjay Gupta also made a highly publicized reversal on his marijuana stance after the production of his two-part series ‘Weed’.

NATURALLY OCCURRING CANNABINOIDS

Marijuana’s claim as a potential panacea is backed up by countless studies crediting its healing potential to its cannabidiol content. Cannabinoids interact with naturally occurring cannabinoid receptors embedded in cell membranes throughout your body.

It’s known that cannabinoid receptors play an important role in many body processes, including metabolic regulation, cravings, pain, anxiety, bone growth, and immune function.

Dr. Allan Frankel, a board-certified internist in California who has treated patients with medical marijuana, says he has seen good results with tumors in some patients using no other therapy except taking 40 to 60 milligrams of cannabinoids a day.

Other common ailments being treated with medical marijuana include:

• Mood disorders.
• Degenerative neurological disorders such as dystonia.
• Multiple sclerosis.
 Parkinson’s disease.
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Seizures.

CBD may also relieve pain and treat anxiety.
